Pictures do need to be kept in place by masking tape. **Q: what is the picture size if i use the mount with my picture ?** A: 'Suitable for an image sized 10x7" with mount' (as per the info in the product description) **Q: Are the dimensons inframe or outside?** A: 7x5 is the dimension of the photo; 15x11 is the dimension of the frame **Q: Does this frame include the white mount shown in the photos? Thanks.** A: Best if you read the description as it states with mount holds 6x6 picture or without mount 8x8 so depending what size your picture is as to whether you would use the insert. So yes there was an insert when I purchased my frame and was able to use it with my 6x6 picture.
