The adhesive on the wrap is much stronger than TrackArmour’s adhesive levels. TrackArmour has an adhesive level made for a temporary use whereas the vinyl wraps are more of a long term type application where you need a heat gun to remove. Only vulnerability in the vinyl wrap is if the installers did not tuck the wrap into the edge of the panel, leaving the vinyl wrap edge exposed. Although TrackArmour’s adhesive isn’t strong enough to overpower the vinyl, there is always a chance that if any type of tape or bonding agent attaches to the edge of a poorly install wrap, is could peel. Highly unlikely, if not impossible. **Q: Can this be applied outdoor on wood? I am looking for something transparent.** A: This tape is semi transparent. You would notice it for sure. **Q: Can this be used under roof rack feet to prevent marring? I'd clean vehicle, apply this product, then mount roof rack to mfr torque.** A: Technically yes, however that specific test has never been done with our material so we cannot confirm performance or expectation of the substrate under the roof rack feet if ever removed. **Q: How long can I leave the film on the car? A week, month, a year?** A: Definitely not a year - its not meant to be a semi-permanent paint protection film. I’ve left it on as long as 3 wks after a track day. I could either ship the car or drive it back. Picked some of this stuff up and it worked incredibly. Like other reviews say, it doesn't stick very well to itself so I would patch some areas up with more of this or some painters tape when stopped for gas.In areas where the PPF peels up and any water gets under, it can leave slight adhesive residue. Easily can be removed with Goo Gone.This stuff doesn't look great on the car but definitely gets the job done. I followed the instructions to a T, my vehicle has ceramic coating and I made sure the area is clean/dried before I applied it. I believe that the 3 inch tape is the best for the front of the car as the 6 inch would be very difficult to manipulate. Applying it to the front bumper, a small strip of the hood, and two mirrors took 1.5 hours to do. It is kind of a pain, especially when trying to avoid overlapping.The tape was left on for four days with two days spent on a track driving most 60-100mph in 95 degree weather. Most of the strips that overlapped started coming off by day 2 but the single layer strips stayed on and collected a ton of bugs. It was super easy to take off on day 5 and left no residue.
