King ColePricewise Double Knitting Yarn 100% Acrylic DK Wool 100g Ball (Mustard - 1740)

I checked online the colours for a harry potter scarf for my granddaughter and these colours came up, when I clicked on the link it brought me straight to these wool colours. (I will be adding this feedback to the claret wool & gold wool}.I go the sew on badges from ebay at approx £1.80 each. This scarf took one of each colour wool and as you can see from the photo is plenty long enough to wrap around the neck. I cast on 40 stitches and used a size 4 needle.

I haven't started on this yarn because my present project and I are having issues.But it is beautiful and came beautifully packaged in a vacuum bag.

Not soft enough for garments plus I thought the tension looked slack so had to downsize a pin as a bit finer than most DK yarn.

Wool was just as expected, what was not expected was the way it arrived. It was vacuum packed, 2 balls fitted through the letter box, ingenious well done.

King Cole products are reliable and very good value. I am not disappointed with this beautiful white yarn which is soft and easy to knit with and gives good results

Reasonably priced-good value for money and softness and thickness just right

Decent enough yarn just not the colour I thought it was... I was looking for NHS scrubs blue... this is way off the mark
