It pumps the water up to the top of the rocks from where it makes a lovely waterfall back into the pond. The fish seem to like it! Very easy installation, just plug and play really. There are four adaptors and you can choose one depending on the diameter of your hose.Four suction feet allow firm attachment to floor and stable operation.I need to raise water about 1 meter and this is plenty of power for that. Quiet operation and pretty low power consumption which is good as my Chinese in-laws like to keep the pond operating around the clock. Came with a UK plug but can easily use anywhere with an adaptor.Cleaning is easy as well, no tools needed. It has arrived today, well packaged and with instructions. It’s a lot smaller that I imagined, which is great. We’ll use it for a little waterfall in the garden, but I think it can be used in a fish tank/ pond/ etc. We’ve tested it in a bucket and it worked fine. It’s fully immersible, but the water temperature shouldn’t exceed 35 degrees Celsius.
