I tried again myself and I currently have 5 of my 1 year olds coats hanging on it. It hasn’t fallen down yet and it’s been a good few weeks! I think you just have to be very careful to get it perfectly straight when you hang it so the tension hits directly in the middle of the ends. If it’s at all wonky or not tight enough then it will fall so I guess what I’m saying is that’s it’s tricky to get the balance right.
