So as long as you plan on using your purchase in wearlink or FT/FA watches the purchase is worth it as will ensure waterproof function (provided seals). if you however plan on using it in H1 sensor , only battery on its own is advised by the manufacturers and in this case it makes more sense to buy pack of 12! of Panasonic 2025 3V for 2.99£- 9£ depending on supplier. I needed it for my monitor so I'm good :) .
