I use the new liquid version along with a non-abrasive dish brush but I’m sure the original powder would work as well. **Q: Does the handle get hot when cooking ?** A: It does NOT get hot. **Q: In the questions it says these are Teflon free, but do they use GenX chemicals?** A: I don't know if They use GenX chemicals but I wouldn't buy it again. I returned my set. These pans do scratch, even when using wood or plastic implements. They warped and no longer sit flat on my stove top. They’re horrible for pouring anything out. And things do stick, I’ve only had them since January. I got rid of my 25-year-old stainless steel set and I wish I had kept them. Martha needs to know about this as she wouldn’t want her name on them.
