The 'pin' plugs into the torch and the usb plug fits into your power supply. You need to buy a 4.2 volt charger with an output of at least .5 amps, preferably 1A. This will cost between say £8 and £20. It looks like a 13A plug but has a power supply/charger built in. Don't get 5v output - you need 4.2v. The higher the power (amps) the faster it will charge. 0.5A will take quite a long time, say 15 to 20 hours at a guess. Or you can get the same thing but with a lead and a round 'pin' type plug that will fit the torch. This torch is very light and feels cheap and nasty but to be honest is very good value for money. it has two settings bright and not so bright and both settings light up my full garden perfectly.
