New features include rechargeable and replaceable batteries. What is also new is that the wireless mouse now also has AES encryption and not just the keyboard.

Review: A simply fantastic keyboad and mouse combo - I wanted to find a new keyboard for my roommate as a Christmas present who spilled juice on his old one. I did a Google search and one of the first links was PC Magazine and of the 5 keyboards they recommended I decides to check out the Cherry Storm at desertcart. Was impressed with the reviews and decided to Google other reviews and they were all great. I was leary about spending 90 dollars on just a keyboard which was the going price on every site I checked. desertcart luckily had the keyboard and mouse combo on special for just under 37, so I ordered the set. Received it was impressed with the eco friendly packaging, the build quality of both the keyboard and mouse, the fact that bot are rechargeable and come with the recharging cord. I was so pleased with the general look and feel decided to give them a run myself to see if I wanted a set. Extremely happy to say wish I had known about Cherry products before cause the overall quality and durability simply blows any of my past keyboards and mice out of the water. I then proceed to purchase the second at the same price so my roommate could have his. On closing I would strongly recommend keyboards and mice from Cherry.

**Q: Is the keyboard okay for gaming? How is the latency?**
A: Having used it for several months, now, I have to give it a mixed review. When plugged in, the latency is never an issue. When the wireless connection is working well, latency isn’t an issue. I’ve recently started experiencing wireless interference that has made the keyboard and mouse unusable if they aren’t within line of sight and two feet from the receiver. I haven’t quite been able to pin down the cause, yet. 

In all other regards, the keyboard and mouse are both excellent. The keyboard is very tactile and produces an incredibly satisfying key press. The mouse is well designed and has adequate and well placed macro buttons. I don’t necessarily think I would recommend it for anyone with small hands, however.

Got this to use with my Mac mini. Worked great. I really like the way the keys click and how the mouse fits my hand. That’s really all I look for in a keyboard and mouse. I use the computer probably 3-4 hours a week occasionally more but I haven’t charged the batteries since I got it.
