The HA1 the handles are a sharp V shape. That essentially makes it like 2 knife edges sticking up that you have to grab hard because the pan is so heavy and also you don't want the pan to flip due to a lose grip. I honestly don't know what they were thinking when they designed these Horrible Handles. Please someone from All-Clad explain to me the logic behind it because I don't see it! **Q: Why is spray oil not recommended?** A: Find Lecithin-free cooking spray (nothing but oil and propellant) and you'll be fine. It's the lecithin and other adjuncts that cause all the problems. Better yet, get a washable metal cooking oil spray bottle and fill it yourself. **Q: Do these come with lids?** A: No, these pans do not come with lids. **Q: Pans coated with food burned on . Can not clean it. Any ideas ?** A: Fill with really hot water & wait until the burned on food has soaked a while - an hour or until the burned food starts to lift.
