At over $250 that is a significant amount of money for a coffee maker. Some of the online reviews were not favorable. The most consistent complaint was the European plug. This machine came with a commercial grade grounded US plug. It is made in Turkey and came beautifully packaged and quality materials. The operation is similar to a Keurig without the pods, simply put the water, coffee, and sugar in and hit start. There is a very helpful YouTube video about the use and it performs exactly like the video. I could not be more happy with this purchase. I have been making Turkish coffee over the stove for years, usually for special occasions. My family in now hooked on Turkish coffee. This coffee maker makes the process so easy and I don’t have to babysit the stove! It does require some experimentation to get the coffee, sugar, and water ratios to your taste. The best experiment I have conducted.
