Sort of like a can fogger?** A: From the Talstar P label: "Do not apply by air or with hand held or truck mounted cold aerosol ULV sprayers and thermal fogging devices." So the answer to your question for Talstar specifically, is NO, however there are other similar products you can use with it. Just check the product label, most of which are easily found online. **Q: Is Concorbium Mold Control a good product to use in this fogger for basement mold control? Is there another recommendation?>** A: Actually, yes, I think so. That's what we used for the purpose purchased. In our case, it was my daughter's car. Her HVAC drain had gotten plugged so water built up in all the vents for a long period. After the drain was unplugged, we used this awesome beast to fog the Concordium into the systems intake vents under the hood. Seems to have done the job.My secondary reason for buying the fogger was to fog my basement that is moldy. Haven't done that yet.Be aware that the name "fogger" may be a bit of a misnomer. It's more of a "mister". In other words, it's not going to gradually fog your precious gallon of Concordium into your basement over a long period of time. Rather, it makes a nice mist that you will need to walk around your cellar and aim generally into the moldy zones. It's enough of a mist that if you aim it, will nicely spread around over quite an area. But, if you just set it on the floor in the middle of the cellar, it will do the middle of the cellar. And, it goes through the tank of stuff in a fairly short period of time. After two maybe twenty minute runs on the daughter's car, we had nearly expired a gallon of Concordium. That was probably overkill for the car, but you get the drift. Walk around with the machine and aim the mist where you want it to be.As I understand Concordium, it's simply a triple combination of very high PH substances that strangles the mold at its roots. High PH means caustic/basic. I didn't use any protection because we were outdoors with the car. In the cellar you might want to follow Concordiums instructions and maybe use a simple painters mask kind of thing and if your skin is sensitive some rubber gloves. I had no problem without that. It's not that caustic. In fact, once I picked the fogger up backwards and it misted all over me for a couple of seconds with no negative effect.By the way, you might want to consider a two-pronged approach to your basement issue. Mold won't grow below 40% humidity. Think about getting a serious dehumidifier and a simple $5 humidistat to measure the humidity in your cellar. You'll want to not be cheap on the dehumidifier. Get one that's overkill for your basements area. Why overkill? It runs less and electricity is costly. And, get one that allows you to attach a hose to run the captured moisture out of the machine and down into your sump pump drain or cellar drain. Otherwise, you will be dumping the teeny tank inside the dehumidifier several times a day, every day.If you can get your cellar consistantly below 40% humidity with the dehumidifier, no more mold will grow and you can use the fogger to kill what you have and you should be golden. **Q: Do you need to wipe down where the mold was after fogging a crawlspace?** A: In some cases there is a small residue left over after fogging. However, this entirely depends on the chemical your using, how long you fogged, and how wet the fog (micron/particle size) was applied. I would recommend wiping up residue but this is entirely up to the end user of the product. A crawl space is different then your dining room. So again, the end user should use their own discretion in wiping up residue. **Q: what are the particles size on fogging?** A: To small for me to see with the naked eye.
