Review: Do not purchase. - Okay okay okay. When I saw all the one-star reviews I just assumed the owners were being picky and expecting a lot better device for $3,000. But this product is just BAD. Like I have a Tesla and I understand the growing pains with full self-driving technology and don't expect it to be perfect every time but hey it works 80% of the time at least. This product doesn't even work. Just sits sometimes for 90 mins straight not even moving with the blades still running, or tries to take a sharp turn and accidentally lift itself off the ground the tilt sensor goes off and just stops itself in the tracks.... Literally just trying to turn it kills itself..... The mapping system doesn't work whatsoever and takes way too long to set up/chronically resetting the map/not accurate. They say you have this wonderful customer service line (that no one ever picks up on) or a chat support line in the app (but no one ever responds to or limited hours) The reason why I purchased this is because I work and don't want to mow the lawn. When I'm trying to troubleshoot this no one is there to support me (weekends, evenings etc). Guys's product isn't ready for market yet for at least not at this price point. If you're going to run a beta product give it to the consumers for a reasonable price or reimburse them to give them feedback on your product. Right now I know why your desertcart reviews are peppered with one star reviews. And don't get me wrong I'm a tech guy and I understand things go wrong/sometimes there's operator error (built my own robot bartender etc) but this thing isn't ready for the general consumer yet or even the market yet.
Review: Very Impressive! - I will start out this review by saying that reviewing a product I’ve had for only a week is not something I would normally do and this review is very much subject to change after I see how this mower handles a full season. A little info about the mower and my particular situation is advisable to start the review, because this mower DEFINITELY WONT work for everyone!! For starters this mower relies on GPS to know where it is which is what allows it to run without wire strung around your property which is exactly why I hadn’t purchased a robot mower until now. Because of this GPS navigation having a clear view of the sky in most places in your yard is very important. It just so happens that my property has no trees or other objects that would block the sky, so signal strength has been great for me. In addition to that you can’t expect this mower to work miracles and mow steep slopes or cut tall grass and weeds. My property is pretty flat in most places and the lawn was already cut fairly short since I have Bermuda and it’s still spring. So with those things in mind I did my research and knew before I purchased this product that it would likely work well for me, and it has not disappointed. I will give a little info about setup and overall performance so far: Unboxing and Setup- Everything is packaged nicely. The mower itself is surprisingly heavy and seems to be of high quality. One thing that drew me to this product was the 4 year warranty and free accessories for life. Ecoflow will send you replacement blades and cables if you ever need them which is nice. The blades themselves are basically razor blades and should probably be changed every few months. Setup was pretty straight forward and the Ecoflow app does a good job of walking you through what needs to be done. One thing I did different though was mount the GPS antenna on my fence so that it sat higher and didn’t have any chance of the fence blocking it from “seeing” the sky. the GPS antenna must be wired to the charging base of the mower included wire that was plenty long for almost any application I could imagine. The only way you might need more length is if you plan on mounting the antenna to your roof. After the antenna was wired up you have to run the power cable. This cable was also plenty long for my application and had no problem reaching the electric outlet on my covered patio. Keep in mind the power brick that plugs into the wall outlet needs to be covered or protected from rain. After power and GPS antenna are taken care of you can put the mower on the base and let it charge. From there follow the steps on the Ecoflow app to test signal strength. My signal was between 96 to 98 which is really good. I would definitely take the time to ensure you’re getting good signal and don’t settle. As mentioned earlier this mower relies on GPS to function properly. Without GPS the mower will not work right at all. After you take care of signal strength the app will ask you to begin mapping your spaces. This is the part of the process that will probably take the longest and you should take your time to make sure you do it right. Basically you drive the mower with your phone like an RC car around the perimeter of your yard so it can learn the boundaries. I found that controlling the mower with the phone wasn’t the easiest thing to do. At times, especially around the right side of my property along the fence the mower would randomly make a hard left turn even when I was driving it straight on the virtual controller on the app. Here’s the bottom line: I imagine that anyone who wants to get the most out of this mower will want to remap their property a few times to get the best map that will offer consistently great results. I don’t consider this to be a negative for the product. I just feel that there is a little learning curve to understanding what works best for your situation. This brings us to one of the first negatives: - Right now only 2 zones can be mapped which won’t work for everyone. I could use up to 5 zones personally. My understanding is that a future software update wil address this and allow up to 5 zones. So hopefully this isn’t a problem for long. You can also make channels between zones which allows the mower to go over areas you don’t want to mow in order to reach areas you do want to mow. Performance - Overall I’m very impressed! This thing makes the prettiest looking lines in your lawn when it mows because it mows in straight lines unlike most other robot mowers. Battery life seems to be very good. Mine is mowing about 4000 square feet of actual grass and still has over 50% battery left at the end. Now my yard is pretty easy, so your experience with this may vary. From what I understand it will also resume if it needs to go back and charge before it finishes, but I have not tested this feature because I didn’t need to. Maybe when I add more zones I’ll see how this works. The blade has a camera that will detect obstacles which I found worked pretty well. I have dogs that would sometimes lay down in the mowers path and it simply stops and goes around them. The blade isn’t perfect. Sometimes as I watch it mow I am a little bewildered at the decisions it makes in regards to how it navigates. At the end of the day though it figures things out. I have 3 full mows in now and the first 2 times I kept a close eye and the 3rd time I left it completely unattended and it had no problems that required my intervention at any time. One other concern I have with this mower is leaving it out in the elements. The blade is supposed to be rated to withstand rain and can also handle spraying off with a hose for cleaning which is good. I am mostly concerned with it sitting out in the hot geoegia sun. I purchased a canopy for the mower elsewhere that I am going to try out. I also hear Ecoflow may release their own shelter for the unit at some point. The sun here can destroy almost anything, and let’s face it this is a very expensive product, so protection is a must in my mind. For a long time I’ve dreamed of being able to sit on my patio while my mower does the work for me and it’s finally here! I am very excited about this product! To recap: - don’t expect good results if you have trees, buildings or other things blocking the sky. You need good view of the sky. The light on the back of the mower should be blue (indicating a good signal) as often as possible. Don’t buy this product if your not going to get good GPS reception. Ecoflow has a quiz on their website to determine if this product will work for you. BELIEVE WHAT IT SAYS! - make sure you take your time when making maps. This will yield great results. Be patient! - don’t expect this thing to tackle tall grass or weeds. This is meant to maintain, not now an out of control lawn. Don’t expect it to tackle steep hills either. For now I am very happy! I will most certainly be updating this review in the fall when mowing season is over though. I hope this helps someone who is on the fence about this product.

### ⭐ Not Ready for the World…
*by D***R on May 30, 2023*

I was very excited about this product, but was extremely let down. It was not able to successfully mow my yard once, even after greatly reducing the area to avoid problem areas. My yard is not complicated, but there are some trees. That was enough for the GPS to have a poor signal and get more than 15 feet off track. In the front yard I mapped it 6 feet away from the sidewalk just to be safe, but it still got stuck on the sidewalk and I had to rescue it. It also hardly ever made it back to the charging station without getting stuck somewhere in between. So it’s terrible even if you get it setup, but the setup was awful too! The GPS antenna wasn’t detected and I could not update the firmware for two days. Without changing anything, it randomly started working. This kind of intermittent behavior did not give me confidence in it. After mapping my yard, the app then deleted it twice! Finally, the design is cool, but the omnidirectional wheels are terrible for grass. The robot would get the front wheels stuck and the back wheels would just chew up my grass. Maybe there was a patent issue so they couldn’t use casters? Overall, the technology is cool, but not ready for the world. EcoFlow needs to keep maturing this for a while, but for now, it’s going back to the store. With a kid on the way, I was really hoping this would give me more free time, but the time I spent babysitting it this past week has proved that it is not practical for us.
