I'm only a newbie welder so I cannot judge whether it is suitable for professional use but I have found it excellent as a general purpose work jacket: carpentry, plumbing, coppicing etc. Washed at 40°C with no discernable shrinkage.

I purchased this flame retardant jacket for my father to wear when doing DIY jobs. The fabric is sturdy & hard wearing. And has numerous pockets for storing tools so that you can keep your hands free to do the job. There are not any shops on the high street selling this type of jacket
