It was well sealed and clean. Took a while to unpack so you cannot damage the packaging material in case you wanted to return it. If you have to return it will be a heavy task because the foam was very compressed to fit the plastic sheet tube it was shipped. I do not know if you can do that manually. The instructions says that it takes at least 24 hours for the foam to fully expand to its normal size. It expanded faster than that. The quality of construction is not excellent but acceptable. It is great to have the extra layer cushion to adjust the height of the wedge. The memory foam is of good feel and make you comfortable. The wedge shape and length it fits the length of my legs well. The part I like is the two handles on the side of the user to accommodate the wedge at the proper location to your legs. That is a good idea. The only fault I can see at this moment after only one night of use are the Velcro holding the two parts together. They are not strong enough. They should be at least two of them per side. The two components, the main wedge and the 1inch filler slide relative to each other. Not too much but sufficient to misalign them. In general, after one night of use I am happy with it. The covering material is soft and of nice feeling. I do not know how durable it will be. Let's see what happens after longer use.
