I attached it to the inside of my PC, hooked it up and it works perfectly. Note it has several ways you can mount it, either into a hard drive slot or caddy, or as I did, find a place and bolt it to the casing. It seems like it won't have any heating issues, but in my PC, there's a fan blowing across it. This is an easy way at a great price to convert your older hard drives to SSDs and still have them fit properly into your machine.
