It you don’t you haven’t done it right. It is not painful. Do not screw your eyes up. I find I can read for a few minutes so I’m not bored. Then I brush the colour on I use for my face mainly below where my bags were but a light tap on that area works for me, with my soft brush. Then I applied with another brush my bare minerals.
