But it will work fine. **Q: Is the battery changing hard to do?** A: I ruined the iPad when I attempted this. It worked, but I cracked the screen when I opened it. Then when I tried to checkout the connections, they ripped which also means the whole LCD has to be replaced. The cables connecting the LCD are fragile and they ripped. The cost of a new LCD is more than the iPad was worth. I replaced an iPhone battery successfully, but the iPad was more difficult for me.
