Due to the weight of the sink, the sides in the centre of the sink don’t sit perfectly flush to the countertop. Review: Hard to keep clean due to poor drainage slope toward the drain. - After over 4 months of daily use I can with certainty state that I am very un-satisfied with this sink. It is very hard to keep clean due to the very shallow pitch toward the drain, the flat bottom and sharp corners. Debris accumulate easily and do not drain towards the drain, they just settle on the bottom making every task involve water sweeping. Do not think that it will solve the problem if you have a detachable sweep spray faucet, that is what I have. Of course if you just let food debris accumulate, that would not only be disgusting and foul, but it will harden and stick, then you will have a very hard job to clean it out. That means each and every time you use it, you will be water sweeping it out, which is time consuming, wastes lots of water, and splashes to wipe up. My advise: Buy a model that has good slope toward the drain and rounded not square corners. I can't believe that any engineer would design a sink in such a way, I totally hate this sink in every possible way. It takes me literally 10x as long to keep clean than my old cheap, small, shallow depth sink. Many other reviews say the same thing, I should have listened! ### ⭐⭐⭐ It looks nice in the kitchen, but definitely has flaws *by J***. on 25 June 2023* We bought this for a kitchen renovation in our home and chose it based on the great reviews. It was very easy to install. It is a heavier gauge stainless steel and it is definitely more quiet when running the garbage disposal than our old sink was. It comes with a cutting board that inserts into the sink top grooves (we don't use that much) and a dish rack that also sits on top of the sink, which I love and use all the time. It is sturdy and rolls up and out of the way, making it very convenient and useful. My complaint is that it came with a grid insert, which I have used since the sink was installed. It has 6 small rubber feet to keep it elevated off the bottom of the sink. This is very difficult to clean and it catches food constantly. It also has scratched the sink in every spot where the feet are. I have tried to scrub the marks, hoping they would go away, but they appear to be permanent. Also, even with the metal grate, somehow, there is a scratch in the sink, as though a utensil was scraped across it. I am really disappointed in the markings on the sink. I think there must be some other material that could be used for these rubber feet that would be softer and would not leave marks. I grew up with a stainless steel sink in the kitchen and don't remember it being so sensitive. I want to discontinue using the grid, but my fear is that the "stainless", is not really, and that if a cast iron pan was left in the sink, that it would leave a mark. Be aware that this sink has corners, not rounded corners, but straight corners, and food tends to accumulate there. It is not easy to keep clean. I would not buy this again, and if given the opportunity, I would switch it out.
