The front panel only opens and locks with the built-in lock and secured only in 2 places. So if you have too much on the inside, it won't work. Even without it, while a 15 in computer fit nicely, there are mesh pockets in the front, but they you can't use them without the front not fully closing. What's the point? The worst is that after changing the code to a personal one, it didn't take it. The mechanism seemed flimsier than other built-in locks. Save yourself the panic of not getting into your bags since only TSA can reset it. Fortunately, after 30 minutes of trying all the numbers around my personal one, I got it.
