It's definitely cold not just 'cool'.First tested it out myself when it was delivered, laid it out on my desk chair at work (it was a particularly humid day!!), sat on it at and the impact was instant.My girl has an extremely thick undercoat owing to her being half husky, sshe really suffers in the heat. Yes I am a responsible dog owner: in the summer we restrict walks to early morning or late at night, plenty of fresh water always available, we try to keep her cool by keeping plenty of shade around if outside, or when indoors if we can't have air-con will put fans on and she will naturally sit in front of them, she enjoys the water too so will jump in it where she can... but I can't let her sleep in a pool overnight!!Introduced the mat to her at home and she figured it out straight away.
