I am not a professional athlete but I do spend quite a bit of time in the gym. They have recently changed this formula. It now tastes, smells, and behaves just like a casein protein powder. I know there's casein in it but it behaves like other %100 casein protein powders. If you've ever used casein protein powder you know that it's clumpy, foamy and sticky, more so than whey products. This product used to be smooth, I could just put it in my shaker bottle and go but I believe that this new formula should be blended in a blender. If I put it in my Blender Bottle (I usually mix it with 1% milk) it takes me a really really long time to shake it so that it is mixed well. Sometimes even after I shake it for a long time I open the lid to drink it and out comes dry powder. After I shake the hell out of it AGAIN and finally drink it, quite a bit of it is stuck to my teeth, the sides and lid of my Blender Bottle. I have to scrub it to get it clean as where before I could just quickly rinse it. I loved the taste of Probolic before they changed the formula and it tastes different now but it is still quite tasty and I find myself craving it. The smell reminds of cotton candy. I have used the vanilla and strawberry in the past as well but have not had any since the formula has changed. Just a note, Probolic is geared towards professional bodybuilders. I recommend reading / comparing the amino acid profile to other protein powders. I think you'll find that Probolic has a much higher content of amino acids (as much as 10 times the amount in other protein powders) than most protein powders and you may not require that much protein. I will buy this again despite the formula change and would recommend it to others. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Excellent flavor but a complete pain to mix *by J***H on September 11, 2015* Excellent flavor but a complete pain to mix. I've tried all different methods and really the only way to get this to mix well is either a blender and adding it slowly or stirring while you add slowly into your shaker. Other than that this product is top notch for good clean protein. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressed thus far, but... *by A***E on January 30, 2014* Man, I've been back in the gym for 3 weeks now. I just started taking this product 4 days ago and my last couple of workouts have been undoubtedly STRONGER. Much more energy and I feel stronger, without a doubt. I do feel like that my heart has been beating a little faster during the day, not sure if there is any correlation or not, but I think this stuff is making me feel a little jittery. I was taking two scoops per day and I'm going to scale back to one starting today.This stuff is certainly more chalky than Isopure, but it is not as tough to swallow as so many of the reviews claim. It takes about 60 seconds of stirring and there might still be a little bubble at the top of the glass, but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to drink and impressed by the chocolate flavor.
