Review: top quality dust collection with rockler. - I tried to find a way to adapt my 2.5" shop vacuum hose to my hand tools. It doesn't work. What is really needed was a separate smaller 1.25" hose for all my hand tools, and keep the 2.5" hose for the table saw and planer. Everything else I use this hose. I bought a couple of extra fittings, so all my tools are now covered. This hose is expandable, and under vaccuum it shrinks. Because of this, the hose tends to pull as you use it, but the fitting fit firmly, and it's not bad because it keeps the hose out of the way. The fittings are simply the best, and way better than any other 1.25" hose design. I like the expandable design, and the hose is small and neat when not in use. It's just a solid product, not expensive, and way better than any other hose out there.
Review: Great product with 1 minor inconvenience - This certainly simplified my dust collection with all of the attachments. Have been very pleased with the product. The downfall is the hose is heavy and when you turn on suction it shrinks so can b a little difficult to manage with handheld tools like a sander. It not bad enough for me to say it’s 4 star instead of 5, just a bit cumbersome at times. Would certainly buy this again!

I tried to find a way to adapt my 2.5" shop vacuum hose to my hand tools. It doesn't work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good system but………

This should be a 5 star product as it is a very capable and quality hose kit. Why the missing star? The biggest adapter failed to connect with my Ridgid Shop Vac. It was too small for a direct install to the vacuum and was the same size as the vacuum hose. So I had to duct tape it together to use it with my track saw.
