I have a laptop with a secondary screen.** A: I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I do know that using the passthrough has some issues if you're connecting the keyboard to a dock. Specifically the Lenovo Graphics Dock, which is a specialty one-off production run by Lenovo. The combination of the LGD's drivers, the Logitech G413 drivers and the SteelSeries Sensei 310 mouse don't play nice with each other. Interestingly enough, the "no longer in production" SteelSeries Kana v2 drivers seem to have no issue. Good thing I have five of them. I don't game. I'm a professional Architect that needs heavy duty switched keyboards, and gaming mice with increased accuracy, and high MTBF switches for the buttons. I've used the SteelSeries Kana since I discovered it in 2015 and have not looked back. It almost mimics the profile of the original MS-Intellimouse - the first LED "laser" mouse with ambidextrous side buttons, which are, IMHO, far better than having both extra buttons on one side. And yes, sorry for wandering off-topic - the simple answer is the extra cable is a straight pass through. No hub is involved, just a ridiculously cumbersome pair of very thick cables. Totally ruins the minimalist keyboard itself. Also, don't expect the switches to have the same durability as MX switches. My left CTRL key snapped off one of it's guides, and there is no recourse to getting extra keys. That was over 17 months ago, and the crazy glue's working fine.
