**Q: Can I use these to re-level a 3-4 person hot tub?**
A: These shims are structural up to 8000lbs.  BUT If you only support the tub at one spot, then the structure of the tub will surely fail.  You need to distribute the weight of the tub evenly over a flat surface.  For this reason I wouldn’t recommend using them between the deck and the tub, but you could level your deck using these.  Provided the weight of the tub, the deck and the people on it are less than 8000 lbs.  1 gallon of water weighs 8 lbs. so 400 gallons = 3200 lbs.  4 people at 160 lbs = 640 lbs. the tub probably weighs around 800 lbs so you are up to almost 5000 lbs, plus the weight of the deck, snow load, furniture etc.  you would be pretty close to 8000 lbs.  I wouldn’t push it myself.  Hope that helps.

**Q: Can this be used for decking? Thx**
A: Didn't use the shims for that purpose, but don't see why they wouldn't work

**Q: Are these strong enough to use on an exterior hot tub?**
A: yes,  8000psi each

**Q: can these be used under a refrigerator where the floor is unlevel on one side?**
A: If the refrigerator is a full-sized stand up model, I would prefer using a heavy metal shim.  The wood shims might crack.
