I ordered up since reviews said they ran small. That meant a medium for me. They fit very well, just a little less roomy than I like. If I were to order again, I would maybe try a large. Pretty uncomfortable actually (and odd).Buckle hardware is pretty lightweight as others have mentioned. Maybe half the diameter you might find on more rugged overalls. I had to reattach one of the buckles after washing the first time (and noticed one of the bars on one of the buckle pieces was mfg'd backwards which is probably why it came off). Not hard to reattach but...you know, kind of rather not have to and I can see it happening regular.The color isn't what I expected either. Its light blue but much lighter than what's pictured and a tone of light blue I'm not crazy about. If the color was true to the picture I probably would've rated them a little higher. My fav pair of well worn bibs (pictured on right) are a light blue I would've liked better.Can't be sure but from reviews it seems the sizing isn't consistent.I got a medium based on reviews that these run large (people claiming they're 'swimming' in them or can fit a whole other person inside them) but might've done better with a large.This particular pair of mediums is loose enough just walking around in but these were meant to work in and aren't as loose as I'd like when bending/kneeling/stooping. I'd rather be "swimming" and have my movements be completely unrestricted (a bit tight in the crotch when kneeling).If there's not very strict manufacturing standards then it's possible there can be a difference in actual size within the same sizes which I find to be true in most clothing anymore so buying wearable items online is kind of a crap shoot.I would've tried to exchange them for a large in dark blue if not for comments about paying as much to return them as to buy them.The worst part is feeling like I'm wearing fiberglass. Except for that I'd say you really can't complain for the value.
