It's better than having the patient use the oral thermometers. Quick and so far accurate. The patient love it that they do not have to have something foreign in their mouth for a while or I have to wake up the patients at night. I use it on the forehead. You do have to touch and slide the thermometer from one side of the forehead to the other. The patients like to see the Green symbol and know they are good within twmp range. This is not the No Touch Thermometer. Once my co workers have seen me using the device, they often ask me to borrow it so they get complete their vitals sooner. The next question is always - Where did you buy it from? Of course - Amazon! ### ⭐ Terrible *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2018* This is unreliable. I get temps from 90.7 to 101 in consecutive takes. I do not trust this product at all for my temp. I should have listened to the negative reviews. The ear thermometer was off by a few degrees occasionally right from the start, even though that function is supposed to be more accurate than the forehead thermometer. And now a couple months later the forehead is completely off. My son is burning up with a fever, super hot compared to me, and both thermometers say he's around 97.6-98.3 degrees, depending on whether I use the ear or forehead function. Few hours ago he felt hot, not quite as hot, and he was 100.0. So clearly wrong right now. The return window just closed so now I'm stuck with this. I thought maybe a few people in the reviews just got duds and I'd be fine. I was wrong, it's just a bad product. Another thing to note, the buttons are easily bumped so this is always going off in my diaper bag. The batteries will probably die soon because of it.I used to have a temporal thermometer that only lasted a couple years before it died. I loved that thing and it was always spot on. I thought I'd save myself the trouble of replacing my thermometer every two years by trying another brand.
