To circumvent this, I have an Ecoflow delta that powers all of my electronics, and I can use it to heat my shower water. I purchased the 1000 watt version of this unit and it heated 3 gallons of water in 15 minutes while it was 60 degrees in my RV. It starts off at 1012 watts but it drops down at times to around 575 watts.Prior to this, I was using an electric hot plate where I heated the same amount water and it took 60 minutes.The verdict is, it does the job but certainly in a longer timeframe than expected.
