Mine was in a new open room so no problems.Mattress expands quite rapidly so no need to wait days, mine was fine to let the dog try out within a few minutes but an hour gets it much closer to normal, I’d let it offgas with a fan and window open but it was not bad compared to other products.After sleeping on it, it’s quite firmAnd I can see some may wish to add a more plush topper to accomplish a cushier feel, but overall it’s supportive and seems ok for my decidedly bad back…Easy cost effective mattress with a wide range of possible uses to Murphy beds and dorms, the 6” is lightweight and full size no problem for solo person to move around. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually pretty soft *by N***Y on October 6, 2024* I’m so picky with mattresses since I like them soft but this is going in my guest bedroom so I didn’t put much thought into it when I purchased it.
