The tea bags have no glue or staples, and are stored loose inside a resealable bag. I was a little worried the tea might not taste as fresh, but such a concern was unfounded. I personally prefer a spicier chai, but the HANDPICK Masala Chai is definitely above aver. I was pleased to find bamboo tongs are included for removing the bags from your brewed tea. The downside to their commitment to low environmental impact, however, has resulted in tea bags that will split open at the edges more frequently than is ideal. The vast majority of tea bags are fine and never split open. My best estimate is about one in five or six bags will fail. This happens occasionally with almost all brands of tea bags.
