**Q: Can I use this on top of existing carpet we are trying to protect? Or will the rubber backing leave marks on the carpet underneath?**
A: We don’t have ours on carpet but I don’t think it would leave any marks on carpet.

A: No it is flat & heavier than throw rug.

**Q: Those stubborn creases again... has anybody found a solution short of returning the rug?**
A: We did try damp cloth & iron. It helped somewhat.
We have the rug in our hallway 6 weeks now,  creases have disappeared completely. Worth the wait. We put this over laminate flooring. Dogs can run the hallway.
