HOWEVER, programming them is something else again. My old cordless phones were more than 20 years old. Unfortunately, here in Florida, we are cursed with frequent lightening and I finally took a hit that took out my phones and also my CPR call blocker. Anyway, as to the programming, be sure to pack lots of patience to get the job done. I do wish you could adjust the volume a lot higher than available especially if you have the phone on speaker. THe sound quality is very good. There are a ton of features with this phone, most of which I will not use. But I do LOVE the amount of CALL BLOCKING that is available. If you are a person that loves bells and whistles then this phone is going to be for you. If you want something very simple then look further or just don't use the features that you don't want. THe phones are a good value and I purchased during PRIME days so did save some on that end.
