I was also unsure how large it would be (given that a 20L rucksack from different manufacturers can be surprisingly different) and so when ordering I was half expecting I might need to return it. But I need not have been anxious. The size is absolutely spot on for a day's cycling or walking without having that "a bit too serious" rucksack look or the feeling that you've taken out a much larger bag tan you really need. It is a smart but simple design with several pockets to help you compartmentalize the bits you want to take with you. The zippers seem to be of nice quality although only time will tell on that one. And it is remarkably comfortable to wear but I don't quite know why! I have had several rucksacks before this one that have seemed comfortable enough, but on my shoulders this seems notably more comfy to wear without digging in anywhere at all or feeling like it's going to slip off. You can pay quite range of prices for a small rucksack and I was not sure whether this one justified the few extra $. But in my opinion, it very much does and now I would look more actively as buying Skysper rucksacks again. I use it for taking to work and it's perfect for this purpose. I really like the style too, though would have liked the option of a few more interesting colours. I have two criticisms however. Firstly, the back is more rigid and less padded than small backpacks I have been used to so feels a bit less comfortable. Secondly, the backpack is also quite long, which I notice as I am quite short and I feel it rests too much on my lower back. So, it's fine for my purposes, which only involve a 15 minute walk to my work, but I would be wary of taking this on longer hikes as I feel it might get uncomfortable quite quickly.
