Small, light and fairly bright.. they add a lot of colour to a room or the back of a screen. If you're curious then take the plunge, you won't be dissapointed. Review: Great on a gaming PC via USB for auto on and off - OK, so having read some of the other reviews I thought I should share my thoughts. Firstly, these were £5.49 on a lighting deal (usually £6.99) and delivered next day for free through Prime - so, for me these were great value for money. They came boxed and the LED's were on a reel. After unwinding I inserted the USB cable into a PC HUB (important note as this will be fairly low powered 0.5amps) and they LED's came on and were of the brightness I desired to light the back of my sons gaming rig. Being on the PC HUB means that when the PC is turned off, the lights go off. When turning the PC on, the lights come on at the last set colour (important). If you use a USB phone charger (1 or 2amp) you may get brighter LED's but they won't automatically go on and off with the PC (or TV if plugged into the TV's USB). The dimming on the remote control works. It just needs pressing for each level down and up - rather than holding it down. I made sure I pressed the up button a few hundred times to ensure it was on the brightest setting. The strobe modes are annoying. I don't want a disco going on behind my monitor so I just set it to solid one colour depending on mood (red or blue usually). But I appreciate that it has this function just in case I do want to host a DISCO. The remote works on IR (Infrared) so you need to blue tack the small receiver cable where you can point your remote at. Mine is next to a white wall so the IR bounces off the wall and into the IR receiver. The last set of battery controlled Christmas tree LED's I purchased had the same remote but they were RADIO signal so you didn't need to point. However, once setup I don't intend to need the remote very often. The 3M sticky tape is sticky. It stuck to a clean white IKEA desk and it's not going to fall off (see pics). I'm sure if you have a greasy or dusty desk you will have a problem. Best clean the surface first. This product is not going to create right angles if you wish to create a square on the back of your TV or Monitor. Best positioned in a METER (100cm) straight line. The LED's are all covered in a clear rubber. Very neat and much better than some non waterproof flimsy LED strips I purchased a few years ago. The one downside is they do not bend round corners, you have 1 straight line and that is it. This doesnt allow for you to go round the back of your TV as show in the pictures without buying at least two light strips. I also feel they could be slightly brighter but thats me being picky.
