Review: Excellent product made from 100% polyester! - Excellent product from IKEA - made from 100% polyester, and stronger than a paper blind. Easy to cut to size, if necessary, and easy to put up. Improved the appearance of the bathroom in which it is installed. The suppliers, Finchley Enterprise, are very responsive and promptly answered any queries that I had. I will certainly be buying this product again from the same suppliers for other rooms.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What’s the best way to cut these ?**
A: If you use scissors to cut the width try using a pin to push through all the layes at once, when you open it to cut you will have a dotted line to follow all the way up.

**Q: How well do these insulate the light from coming in the room?**
A: My wife uses her blind to keep the sun from blinding her when she sits at our back window.  It does enable the sunlight to pass through to a degree, so it will shade a room; but, it won't work as a light blocking blind.

**Q: Do these blinds leave marks when removed? Want to use them as a temporary measure**
A: They left marks on my plastic window frames but they’re easily removed.

**Q: I am about to install one of these in a rented apartment; have you tried taking off the adhesive strip or the velcro strips? Do they damage paintwork?**
A: We have used ours and they've attached well, and have stayed in place.  We haven't removed them, so don't know if the velcro strips will have any effect on the paintwork.  Though, would imagine the paintwork could be cleaned of the sticky residue fairly easily, with a scrubbing sponge and hot soapy water.

Great little blind! I bought this to block the light from a glass panel bedroom door a few months ago and it is still looking good. Easy to install and cut to fit, I would suggest to leave the tapes that hold it together, measure width, mark and cut in one go. I didn’t take any off the length as the white plastic clips hold any excess in place. I have just ordered another on standby for when it gets soiled, although it is still looking clean with just a quick wipe. Very fast delivery service. I would definitely recommend this company.
