**Q: Where is it made?**
A: It is made in China, a number of product from Amazon recently bought claimed to be made in Japan, but actually made in China.

**Q: Can i use this to remove pits from oranges and lemons in my squeezer bowl?**
A: If you are referring to scooping it out of the liquid then yes, but I personally don't like this one because it takes forever to strain the liquid out. I bought it for straining the chunks and fat out of my homemade stocks and it didn't work the way I wanted it to. I would suggest using food grade cheese cloth.

**Q: Is it safe to use extremely hot oil?**
A: I’ve never used with extremely hot oil. I’ve used with extremely hot water only.

**Q: Is it flat or concave? I cant' tell by looking at the pictures**
A: almost flat.  it works great for skimming
