For emergency purposes, this was an affordable and excellent substitution during a particulary harsh snowstorm. I bought 2 boxes of 4 units of salt and even shared 4 units with my neighbors and I still have 2 boxes left. This an excellent standby, thatvwas recommended by an online gardener.
