This has been an excellent everyday frying pan and one that I reach for constantly. The first thing that stands out is how evenly it heats. It distributes heat well across the surface, which helps food cook consistently without hot spots. Once it heats up, it maintains temperature nicely, making it easier to control cooking compared to thinner pans. The nonstick surface performs very well. Food releases easily, and cleanup is quick and simple. I have not needed to soak it at all, even after regular use, which is a big benefit for a pan used this often. The overall construction feels solid and durable. The handle is comfortable and easy to control, even when the pan is full. This wok is fantastic! It’s truly non-stick — I can cook with very little oil, which makes my meals much healthier. These are very high quality pans, I also bought the 12" skillet. I had the 5qt saute pan, the previous model, but gave to my son a couple years ago. I just got around to getting another 5 qt one for everyday cooking. I do have a 10 qt saute pan that I use when I'm canning or have dinner guests. It is beautiful, cooks like in a chef's dream. It is deep enough for a meal for family of 6-8. Eggs do not stick, fast to wash then hang to dry. I did wish the handle was a little thicker, flatter so it doesn't twist in my hand but I got over it and compensate with the helper handle. The helper handle is great, it's a must for me for safety in moving the pan around.
