Wie gewohnt, schnelle Lieferung durch Amazon. Die TV-Karte wurde durch den Hersteller bereits gut verpackt, von Amazon leider nur eine kleine Verpackung ohne zusätzlichen Schutz.Nachfolgend noch kurz, unter welchen Bedingungen ich die Karte einsetze, für alle die etwas ähnliches vorhaben.Bislang verwende ich für Serienaufnahmen meine Dreambox 7020HD. Diese ist jedoch häufig mit den beiden Tunern vollständig ausgelastet. Daher habe ich mich auf die Suche nach einer anderen Lösung begeben. Diese fand ich mittels easyvdr und der hier angebotenen TV-Karte mit 8 Tunern für DVB-C. Mittlerweile läuft die Karte bei mir unter easyvdr 2.5 (zu Grunde liegende Distribution ist hier Ubuntu 14.04). Die TV-Karte wird nicht automatisch installiert, sondern es musste der richtige Treiber manuell installiert werden. Der Treiber nennt sich:dddvb-dkms_0.9.23.1easyVDR0-trusty_all.debEine genaue Anleitung wie die Karte installiert wird, findet sich im VDR-Portal. Einfach über Google nach dem Treibernamen und Max A8 suchen und man kommt bereits auf den richtigen Thread im VDR-Portal. Nach einem Neustart erkennt Ubuntu insgesamt 8 TV-Karten für DVB-C und 8 TV-Karten für DVB-T.Anschließend wurde noch ein Sendersuchlauf durchgeführt und daraus eine eigene Kanalliste erstellt.Die Kanalliste musste noch über das Menü zur Nutzung angegeben werden. Anschließend konnte man auch das Fernsehbild empfangen.Nun bin ich noch an der Feinkonfiguration des Systems. Aber die Karte hält was sie verspricht. Es traten bei sehr vielen Aufnahmen die bislang auf dem System laufen keine Timerkonflikte auf, im Gegensatz zur Dreambox 7020HD. Übrigens Aufnahmen laufen auf ein Software-RAID das sich in dem Rechner befindet (3xWD-Red 2TB im RAID 0).Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist, dass auf der beigelegten CD nicht bereits der korrekte Linux-Treiber vorhanden ist. Vielleicht wird dies zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt vom Hersteller noch nachgeholt.Die Karte bekommt von mir trotzdem die vollen 5 von 5 Sterne, da sie einwandfrei funktioniert. Man muss wenn man Linux einsetzt sich eben einmal mit dem Treiber auseinandersetzen. Für Windows wird auf der Herstellerseite übrigens bereits ein Treiber zur Verfügung gestellt.
