Anyway, the 2.2m umbrella is great value and does a brilliant job of lighting a large set and producing soft shadows. Probably not as durable as the Profoto archetype, but solid and useful, nonetheless. If you use Elinchroms, you will find the shaft won't fit the proprietry channel the heads provide for true centre lighting of the umbrella, and you will have to use additional angled umbrella fittings between the stands and the heads, to secure the 'brolly and position it in space. As this item is approx: 7 ft make sure you have the room to set it up as it does take a lot of space. I have this fitted to my Bowens strobe light and works perfectly, The black section of the umbrella covers off and can be used as a shoot through as well. If on location make sure the stand is weighted down as the slightest wind and it's mary poppins time. Good delivery time 100% happy with this item. Build quality is excellent comes with nice case/sleeve to protect from dirt and dust and then comes in a nice solid tube for extra protection.
