So pleased with my first creation and plan another tomorrow. Such beauty and so few calories. Thanks too to Hamish at ' the Secret Herb Garden ' Edinburgh for the edible flowers.I am updating my review having had this book for over a month now. 100% disagree with the 'style over substance' comments below. This book provides access to knock out flavours and easy salads using everyday ingredients which take little or no time to prepare. So far I have made raw cashew mayo, gremolata dressing, nut and seed brittle, pickled spiced grapes, beetrrit powder and herb powder plus four flavour packed salads. Two friends have bought the book on my recommendation. For the Summer, this is currently outstripping Anna Jones, ' A modern way to eat' for its simplicity and equally flavoursome dishes. This is truly a sensational book. First of all the photos are stunning. The author knows how to take a great photo and also is an artist when it comes to presenting food.What I loved is all the recipes for dressings found in a big chapter at the back. Means it's easy to find something to make when you don't know what to cook. I think I may use this part of the book more so than the actual salads.
