Used it to repair my flat roof where it had a crack & to seal around a stack pipe that went through the roof & had been bodged with silicone they shrank leaving a gap. I used it to cover a plastic roof on a pergola which had some holes in it. I believe that this will help protect the roof and add years to its lifespan. If at room temperature it should stick to many surfaces. If not, heat briefly with a gas gun as you lay it on. Also you can use a wallpaper edging roller once it’s in place to help make it bond. **Q: Will it work to stop lead flash slipping on a slate roof.** A: Yes, you can use it to replace damaged lead flashing too, adheres to slate, stone, brick, wood etc,,. **Q: Can this be painted over ?** A: I’ve only used sealant paint on it no problem, it sticks to it and doesn’t peel off.
