Review: Overall I’m happy with the way this case looks and functions - Phone signal, Bluetooth, and the button to silence the phone all work fine for me, there is a little difference to the speaker and mic with this case but that’s to be expected, it hasn’t caused me a problem whilst making calls. The screen protector is plastic and sits flush to the screen and there is no noticeable difference to how the touch screen functions. The screen protector is unlikely to stop the screen from smashing, I have insurance for accidental breakages, however it will prevent scratches etc to the screen. The rest of the case is very sturdy, well made and comes with a few spare screws and a replacement rubber cover for the charging slot. Charging the phone was a bit hit and miss to start with but having used the phone charger a few times it now slots in and remains in place whilst charging. As for it’s waterproof capabilities I have no intention of putting that to the test. It is heavy, my iPhone 6 Plus and case weigh 418 grams. I did see a video of a similar case being thrown out of a bedroom window on to grass then again on to concrete and the phone appeared to survive, I’m guessing luck played a big part in that experiment.

**Q: The volume keys are hard to operate. Any tips?**
A: I have found that the volume keys protrude well on the case I have and I have no problem operating them (the up/down volume buttons) there is a definite ‘click’ in the operation.
You might want to check how the case has come together during assembly just in case the rubber moulding hasn’t sat quite right on the buttons.

### ⭐ Good sturdy case - but too many problems to recommend.

The case is certainly sturdy, and I'd assume that it's going to do a good job of protecting my phone. The fingerprint sensor takes a little getting used to, and the thickness of the surround can make touching the edge of the front screen a little tricky. The clip holding the pen holder in place was stiff at first, but after a few days it seems easier to open. Opening the phone to access the inner screen is easy and it looks as though it will do a good job of keeping dust off the hinge. The case is a bit large, and makes an already sizable phone that bit bigger, but I think that's a small price to pay to protect a significant investment like this. EDIT :- After some use I'm having second thoughts about this case. Where the case touches when folded the paint has chipped off, and dust is getting under the outer screen cover which is not at all helpful. The main problem is that I can no longer charge the phone using the charging pad in my car, the pad won't recognise the phone and start to charge it. I don't think that the charging pad I have at home now charges the phone as fast as it did with the previous case I had. If you need to use charging pads then I can't recommend this case. SECOND EDIT:- I've had to stop using this case, another problem is that it reduces the signal that the phone can pick up. I live on a narrowboat and when I'm travelling I do often find myself in a bad reception area, but this case makes things worse. Finally, other problems are that the outer screen protector has now got a scratch on it, and when I removed the case there was quite a bit of dust under it.
