I originally used this for Airsoft and it has performed very well after 3 hours of constant use during night games. After purposefully dropping it 5ft off the ground onto concrete and throwing it onto the ground, the light has taken some dings and scratches and even some parts of the inner lens cracking. I also pressed both of the toggle buttons very hard and they haven’t become mushy or broken which is good. Even after doing this torture test and even parts of the inner lens cracking, the light still performs as new with no difference in performance whatsoever. If you’re using this for airsoft then this light performs well above and beyond. As for using this weapon light for real steel firearms, from my experience the light seems more than capable of being a good weapon light for actual firearms considering the price point. I probably wouldn’t use this for my main AR-15, but I will definitely use this product for my secondary firearms like my MP5 and my S&W FPC.
