I had two uses for them *by P***. on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2018* I'll say these are great. I had two uses for them. First one - The bulbs are 4 watts each (8 Watts) for use in replacing two of our 40 watt each incandescent (80 watts) small appliance bulbs in the microwave above the stove cook top. They produce a nice white light, and more like the incandescent that they replaced. They seam to me more like 2700K than what they are listed at 3000K color. At full brightness they are probably at 90% as bright as the incandescent, but work very well for us and don't even use the low setting. But as others have said, they flicker slightly at the lower setting, and advertised that they did not, hence my 4 out of 5 star rating, but would give it a 4.5 if I could.The second use - is for our recessed in wall stair lighting. Normally, in the past I installed the smallest 9 watt cfl bulb for this application. The smaller E17 bulb base will not fit in a standard E26 medium (regular) light socket. So, I used the Glo-shine E26 E27 to E17 Socket Adapter,Medium Screw to Intermediate base E17 Light Bulb Socket Adapter Converter Reducer (3 PACK)( https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DY65JCU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s04?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )This allows the E17 Led bulb to screw in the in-wall fixture and works great. Just the right amount of stair light, and at two fixtures, at 4 watts, 8 watts total is great. With the bulb at $2.29 each, and socket adapter at $3.33 each, for a total of $5.62 per fixture is not bad for what we needed.PS/FYI For the stair light application.
