## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it hold screws in place too?**
A: Depends on the type of screw. you want to hold. If the screw has a smooth shank from the bottom of the head of the screw to the point at which the threads begin, you could probably hold it by the smooth shank. But you would have to use the hole in the in plier jaws that is slightly bigger than the screw, so that it will turn freely. If you try to hold the screw by the threads it will most likely chew up your pliers. Best bet, drill a pilot hole a tad smaller than the screw then start your screw in the pilot hole.

**Q: Can I use this for Roofing nails to do a roof?  Does it have a slot that is thick enough? what are the slot thicknesses?**
A: The tool could be used for a VERY SMALL roof job! You must use 2-hands to place a nail into the tool, then position the loaded tool on the shingle, and swing the hammer to drive the nail. After the nail penetrates the shingle and is gripped in the sheathing, you must open the tool, slide it away, and finally drive the nail home. Awkward, but no smashed fingers!
The nail-grip hole range from #19 (0.166") dia. x 5/16" high and #19 (0.166") dia. x 1-1/8" high.       The smallest hole is #55 (0.052") dia. (For a small model roof?!)

**Q: Will it hold thise super small nails fir picture frames?**
A: These are too stiff to open easily and chip when a misplaced hammer blow Nick's them. I tried for very small nails but went back to metal needle nose pliers, which were easier for me.

This is one of those tools that is super helpful when you need it. Great for small nails at odd angles when you have trouble swinging the hammer and not able to properly hold up the nail. This will solve that problem. Just used it about a week ago for that same reason after clumsily smashing my finger on the first time without the tool. Your fingers and sanity with thank you!
