I gave it 4 stars because whatever coating is on the case makes it IMPOSSIBLE for pop sockets to stick. I cleaned with rubbing alcohol prior to applying the name brand pop socket and it just slides right off. I have used this brand for close to 4 years to protect my phones and I have never had a phone get damaged in them. I had the iPhone 7 and that case had met some acetone which melted most of the back so pop sockets stuck. I don’t want to ruin a brand new beautiful case for a pop socket. This version for the X looks like they went cheap. The older one had easy to push rubberized buttons and impact corners. This one is ALL hard plastic Making changing the volume very very difficult. The older version with rubberized corners also seemed to be more protective in a drop than hard platic.
