These worked just fine, and I was happy that they have the adjustable waist feature. The leg openings are wide, which is a plus, because she had knee surgery and it's all swollen. Close fitting leg openings would be too hard for her to slide on. One drawback is the roughness of the fabric when new. It softened a little in the wash, and my daughter doesn't think it's too rough.
