Being very disgruntled by the extortionate price that HP charges for its products, however, I decided to try a third party replacement cartridge this time, albeit with some trepidation. The manufacturer of these ink cartridges does provide instructions on how to proceed if there are problems in the printer accepting the replacement but I need not have worried. The cartridge was accepted straight away with no problems. As far as I can see, the quality of print is as good as HP cartridges both for documents and for photos and at less than half the price.
