Review: Worth the money - I rarely write reviews but this deserved one. I was dithering for a long time as it’s a lot of money for a fan. Then in the 3rd heatwave (UK) I was so exhausted from lack of sleep I ordered. It arrived within 5 days - rather than the estimated 5 weeks. Very easy to set up. The plug and cord are approx 1.5m long. What an absolute game changer this is. It is almost silent on the lower settings and barely audible on middle setting. Worth putting timer on as routine so don’t forget to turn off, it’s that quiet. It covers whole room when oscillating. It is absolutely cooling and I can now sleep. Excellent features are a timer, remote, room temperature display and it can adjust itself to the room temperature as needed. No more sitting in dark room with feet in ice water! 10/10

**Q: Is this fan really quiet as I'm a very light sleeper?**
A: Yes on a low setting

**Q: Does this fan actually blow cold air or just circulate the hot air? Thanks**
A: This fan circulates the air in the room at its existing temperature, but doesn't cool the air itself like an air conditioner would. However, having air rapidly moving across our skin allows the human body to cool down more effectively, similar to how a cool breeze feels on a hot day, which is essentially what this fan does, just in an indoor setting.
If you want the air in the room itself to be colder then you may want to look at air conditioners instead of fans, but fans can still help while actively blowing air towards you on hot days. I've even felt a bit too cold with this one on at times, it does a good job of making the room feel comfortable without too much noise  :)

**Q: I find that the oscillation button doesn't work sometimes. Is there a reason for this?**
A: Oh not experience this. I can say thus fan is one of the best purchases I have made for this summer !

**Q: Hi, What’s the diameter of the base? And also the diameter of the main column?**

Just what I wanted, very quiet, unobtrusive design, usual rubbish manual, but so easily controlled from the simple remote that doesn't really matter. I nearly didn't find the remote , it tucks away so neatly in back, and that's how it arrives.
